Ard Doko, born in the Netherlands, is self-taught. He has been conquering the international Street Art scene since the age of 19 and is now a prolific artist. Doko has collaborated with world famous artists and has been shown at various art fairs. His artworks reveal social chaos and beauty. He makes his portraits with spray can, brushes and marker on both wall and canvas.

Doko guides us through his experiences with layered compositions on cultural and identity issues. His work is a manifesto for anyone who dares to see that the world is not as black and white as it appears to be. The eyes in his work therefore have a function - a constant iconic logo in the midst of chaos - that reminds us that the world is always seen through our perception; a projection of yourself.
