The women on stage, bodybuilders at the door and the world of showbiz with artists and clowns. They are all subjects of his artworks. Style

The style Moansburg uses could be described as ‘Pop Art Extra’. Bright colours and roughly rasterized prints dominate the image. His experiences in the studio of the Dutch artist Herman Brood is obviously present in the artworks of Moansburg. Just as Brood, Moansburg works methodical. The artworks are created by a systematic layering of different techniques, where stencilling and screen printing are the two main techniques.

The combination of bold graphic elements along with dramatic dark screen prints present an energetic yet vintage image!
