Through the years Dominique Chan's work developed into a balanced and colourful composition. Thereby he uses all mediums create his characteristic features. Just like "the constructivists" he uses certain colour palets that can be found in every individual work. His work exudes freedom. This appearance was caused by his use of colour, bright and direct, and the seemigly chaotic manner the paint is applied on the canvas. Notable is that his work divided, where every part tells a different story. These different sections and colours constitute the decor for the characters Chan pictures fast and effective.
The cheerfulness in the works of Dominique Chan is being appreciated worldwide. His work is frequently being exhibited nationally and internationally.
