Born in London, Bradley traveled widely before returning to exhibit with Gimpel Fils, the Redfern Gallery, and Victor Musgrave. Also during this time, he became associated with London’s bohemian scene, earning the nickname "Rimbaud of Soho." During the late 1950s, Bradley spent time in Paris, where he exhibited with Galerie Rive Gauche, known for its Surrealist collection of works by artists such as Max ErnstYves Tanguy, and René Magritte.
