Beyond his prolific artistic output, Bernard Alligand has left an indelible mark on the world of illustration and bibliophile art. For over three decades, he has been illustrating artist's books on unpublished texts by many contemporary poets. His contributions to this realm have been recognized and celebrated, with dedicated collections established in prestigious institutions such as the Angers Library and the Romain Gary Heritage Media Library in Nice.
After his journeys, he represented France at the International Biennial "Imagining the Book" at the Library of Alexandria, at the International Art Festival in Amman, as well as at the French Spring at the National Library in Reykjavik and exhibited in several French cultural centers.
