Alberto Carrera Blecua (Huesca, Aragón, 1952 - Taragona,10th March 2017) attended the School of Bellas Artes in Barcelona. The work of Carrera is like a diary of his life and it reflects his emotional relationship with the world in which he lives.
Like the well known painter Antonio Saura (Huesca 1930 - Cuenca 1998), Carrera Blecua comes from the northern Spanish city of Huesca. Saura knew the work of Alberto Carrera Blecua and appreciated the work of this younger artist.

He is one of those artists whose work oscillates the limits of the human feelings, the artist balances between the desire to avoid and at the same time has the need to confirm the human condition.
