Rémi de Ligny grew up in Leiden, where he still lives and works today. After his education in graphic design De Ligny worked as a courier at the company Apple. In his free hours he spends his time behind the computer, continuing to learn the art of graphic design.
Talent
Soon it became clear that De Ligny had talent in graphic design and he started to design for different agencies. Besides that he started creating photo collages. He didn’t realise that this would turn out to be beautiful artworks.

De Ligny creates his artworks by composing different pictures. He pays a lot of attention to details. His style can be described as nostalgic, futuristic and surrealistic. Common themes in the artworks of De Ligny are alienation, identity and the eternal battle between good and evil.
