During his career, visual artist Luc Peters successfully exhibited at various galleries in the Netherlands and abroad. His work has been shown in various galleries in Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht. Peters also has numerous exhibitions in Belgium and Germany. He received his education at the Maastricht Academy and the Tilburg Academy.
Luc Peters is as self-willed as the art he makes, he does not stick to rules. With his own way of creating, Peters profiles himself as a fearless artist who does not work traditionally and surprisingly differently. He strives not to work according to a preconceived plan, but rather from a spontaneous creative process. In doing so, he gives the undecided, the unintended and the unexpected every opportunity to assert.
With his fascination with unorthodox materials, 'scars of time' or 'fossils' as the artist calls them, Peters knows how to captivate the viewer again and again. His work is powerful through the application of innovative techniques. He prints, as it were, his stamp on the material and in this way passes on his experiences and ideas to the viewer.
