Anouk van Tetering is best known for her stylish artworks. Over the years, she has transformed small or forgotten objects she has collected into stunning large designs where the boundaries between art and design completely disappear. Despite the evolution of Anouk's body of work, the pieces always retain their unique and recognizable signature. Although Anouk has chosen photography as her medium, she does not confine herself to the label of just a photographer. Her artworks are imbued with multi-dimensionality, often incorporating paint, chalk, or even gold leaf into the images.

After attending the First Liberal-Christian Lyceum (VCL) in The Hague, Anouk traveled to Boston where she took various art classes. Back in the Netherlands, she chose the free direction at the Rietveld Academy, where she embraced a profound way of thinking. Anouk's artistic wings now extend far beyond the Dutch borders, and her works are internationally recognized.
Anouk finds beauty in everything: "You just have to take the time to experience it. We look, but we don't always see it. The human brain is happy with aesthetic perfection. I approach it in a way that combines design and art. But achieving perfection, of course, is never entirely possible. It's about balance. That's why I often opt for a round shape. It's nice to work with, there's no beginning and no end. People say they enjoy having my work on the wall, it brings peace. Much modern art is the result of an internal conflict of the creator. You don't always want an artist's problem on the wall. Life is already full enough."
